    Scott and Linda both graduated from Southern Missionary College with education degrees and taught for several years in SDA schools. But before starting their family they were convicted to depart from their teaching careers and move to the country where they owned and operated their own cabinet shop. They enjoyed gardening together as they raised their three children, who are now grown, married and active in their SDA churches. Two years ago the Learneds retired and moved to the Ozarks in Arkansas where they live on a 30 acre homestead.

    Whitmar has been growing produce and spe­cialty crops for 33 years. For 21 years he’s pro­vided soil fer­til­ity and edu­ca­tion ser­vices through­out North America and beyond to growers of every scale from back­yard gar­den­ers to growers farming several thou­sand acres. He’s been married to his wife Lisa for 35 years, is dad to 8 chil­dren and ​“Gramps” to 3 grand­chil­dren (soon to be 4). He loves helping people to ​“taste and see that the Lord is good”.

    Zach is a Market Gardener at Bountiful Blessings Farm in Williamsport, TN, where he grows vegetables for a CSA, farmers markets, and local grocery stores. Formerly a data analyst at Amazon, he felt a strong call from the Holy Spirit to pursue a simpler, more purposeful life through country living. He also has five years of experience in flower bed installation, including nursery work and planting annual flowers throughout the Southeast.
